Charles Davis Gossett's Obituary
GOSSETT, Charles Davis of Nashville, age 82 went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, August 8, 2009. Mr. Gossett was the owner of Gossett Brothers Air Conditioning and Heating Corp. from 1963 to 1980. Following that, he joined the A & H Mechanical Contractors Co. and remained with them until his retirement in 1994. Mr. Gossett was a member of Two Rivers Baptist Church since 1972. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Navy CB's. Mr. Gossett is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Hartwell Gossett and Nina Pearl Davis Gossett, his sister, Nancy Morrow and his two brothers, William "Bill" Gossett and Marvin Gossett, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Charmaine; sons, Steve (Doris) Gossett and Charles Gossett, Jr., also his brother, Bob (Marian) Gossett of Clarksville, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday (today) from 4 to 8 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville and where funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at 11:00 am with Rev. Norman Richards, Senior Adults Pastor of The Donelson Fellowship officiating. Honorary Pallbearers: George Lovell, Harold Richardson and Ron Jackson; Active Pallbearers: Neal Buchanan, Gene Farley, Drew Hobbs, Jason Papuchis, Kenny Reasoner, Jimmy Sadler and Jack Stroud. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
