Mr. Charles Lee Floyd's Obituary
Charles Lee Floyd of Madison, TN passed away on February 26, 2020 in Sumner County. He is preceded in death by his parents, Horace Floyd and Annie Mae Floyd; daughter, Brenda Kay Floyd; sisters, Mary Ellen Martin, Maude Elizabeth Rippy; and brother, Claude Arthur Floyd.
He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Eva Helen Floyd; sons, Donnie (Dottie) Floyd, Randy (Patricia) Floyd; grandchildren, Tracy (Michael) Kirby, Lauren Floyd; great-grandchildren, Chelsea Garcia and Maleah Brodie; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his step grandaughter Cindy McDaniels (Robert), step grandson John Lovelace (Wanda), step great-grandaughter Hallie McDaniels and step great-grandsons Austin McDaniels, Zack McDaniels, Caleb Lovelace, Preston Lovelace.
Charles was a WWII Veteran and received several medals for his service. He was proud to be a part of the Seabees or the United States Naval Construction Battalions. Charles was dedicated and strong-willed, the monarch of the family. He was a family man who loved the Lord. Charles enjoyed working outside in the yard and he loved his country western and gospel music. He touched the lives of so many people and will truly be missed.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 4pm – 8pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life funeral ceremony will be held on March 2, 2020 at 11am with an hour of visitation prior.
