Mr. Charles L. Graves' Obituary
Charles “Chuck” Graves, age 79 of Lebanon passed away April 27, 2014. Charles was born on May 12, 1934 in Nashville, TN to the late Marvin and Lela Graves. He served is country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Charles was an avid boater and camper who raised his children on the water; he was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, enjoyed working around his home and loved all animals. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Carla Graves Cunningham. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Betty Graves; daughter, Bonnie (Tony) Thompson; grandchildren, Sabrina (Chris) Range, Charlie (Angie) Livesay, Cole (Jennifer) Cunningham; great-grandchildren, Emmi Cain, Zach , Gracie and Brody Range, Jackson and Jace Livesay; sister, June Hicks; brother, Timothy “Cotton” Graves; his best friend and beloved dog, Rue; he is also survived by his special friends at Uncle Pete’s Truck Stop, the Hardee’s on 231 and Dr. Roger McKinney. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 29th from 4-7 P.M. at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Country K-9 Rescue in Lebanon, TN.
