Mr. Charles Donald Lehane's Obituary
Charles Donald Lehane, 74, of Lafayette, Tennessee, formerly of Goodlettsville, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021. Born February 3, 1947, in Fall River, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Edward L. Lehane and Evelyn Lapointe Lehane.
Charles was a loving husband, brother, grandfather and great grandfather who will be missed dearly. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy. He enjoyed fishing for anything that would bite; metal detecting; working on cars when he wasn’t cussing them; attending auto shows; and going out to restaurants (especially Chinese). Above all else, he loved his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter April Putty; brother Ed Lehane.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years Sheila Lehane; brother Bob (Pam) Lehane; grandchildren Leah Marie Putty and Chase Hunter Putty; great grandchildren Wyatt Hunter and Gavin Aaron; sisters-in-law Teenna (Art) Kardell, Dena Carlisle, and Wendy Lee Carlisle; brothers-in-law Michael Carlisle and Donnie (Donna) Carlisle; and a host of extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 3 at 12 pm noon at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. The family will receive friends and visitors an hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
