Mr. Charles Lee Marler's Obituary
Charles "Chuck" Lee Marler, 80, of Nashville, TN passed away on June 15, 2023, surrounded by his family.
Chuck was born on November 7, 1942, to Virgie Marler and James Provance. He was raised by his Granny, Arzilla Marler, in Van Buren, Missouri on the banks of the Current River prior to joining the Navy and serving on the USS Yorktown.
Chuck was a skilled welder and metalworker, in addition to being a proud business owner. He loved working on his home and lawn, and was always actively tinkering on something.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Sammie Jo, two children: Turina and David Dean (Lori), two granddaughters: Sarah (Jeff) and Olivia (Sam), one great-grandaughter: Millie Rose, one brother: Jerry David, and one sister: Maxine.
Chuck was preceded in death by his granny, parents, brothers: Oddis, Tolman, and Kenny, and two sisters: Marcella and Bernice.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in his hometown of Van Buren.
