I went to middle & highschool with Chuck. When I was in undergraduate school at Belmont in Nashville , I was a single mom raising a daughter on my own & balancing being a business owner with school and mom duty- I was often overwhelmed. Chuck would call and we would write music on the phone for hours. He was the best picker with a great voice. It was the mental break I needed to keep going and he eventually introduced me to one of his best friends, the love of my life & husband, Greg. Chuck has always been a rock solid friend I could lean on no matter what I was facing, a voice of reason when I wanted to quit school 1,001 times and a cheerleader when I was utterly exhausted and ready to give up. A true friend in every essence of the word. Irreplaceable as much as unforgettable. Chuck was a light when the path went dark & I think you will see that common characteristic in everyone’s memories of him because he was the real deal true blue friend! Not often are we afforded in life to have true friendships. I was blessed to have that with Chuck & I will never forget him or take for granted all of my accomplishments in life that he helped me to reach. Save a seat for me my friend!!
