Mr. Charles Louis Oldham's Obituary
Charles Louis Oldham, 89, of Hardin, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021, in Murray, Kentucky. Born October 5, 1931 in Spencer County, Indiana, he was the son of the late Joseph Charles and Leahla Mae Oldham.
Mr. Oldham served his country proudly in the Korean War as a member of the United States Army. He worked later as a truck driver who was proud of his profession and proud of the fact that he never had one accident. He was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt rabbit, squirrel and quail. He was also an avid fisherman. He loved his family and will be dearly missed by them.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Caroline Jody Mooney; brothers Joe, Bob, Slim and Shorty; wife Clara Jean Oldham.
He is survived by his sons Robert (Linda) Oldham, and Billy (Shirley) Oldham; daughter Jackie Riggan; grandchildren Brian (Jenny) Oldham, Bethany (J.B.) Owens, Shannon Thompson, Randy Gentry, Carol Riggan, Tony Riggan, and Jonathan Riggan; 17 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12 PM noon until 2 PM on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will follow at 2 PM with Minister Wayne Miller officiating. Burial will take place in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
