Mr. Charles S. Phelps' Obituary
Charles Steven Phelps, 62, of Nashville, TN, and formerly of Goodlettsville, TN passed away from colon cancer on April 27, 2021 while at Alive Hospice.
His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home at 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm immediately prior to the funeral.
Charles was born on September 2, 1958, in Nashville, TN to Paul Phelps Sr. and Wilma Gilliam Phelps. Charles was a forklift mechanic for over 25 years, and his entire work career was with Garrison Service Company. He enjoyed traveling and boating and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his son, Brandon Charles Phelps of Goodlettsville, TN, Brother Paul Phelps (JoAnn) of Lebanon, TN, Brother Ken Phelps (Monnie) of Hendersonville, TN, Sister Teresa Kelly of Nashville, TN, Sister Juanita Matlock of Crossville, TN, Sister Christie Derryberry (Gary) of Dayton, TN, and Sister Tabbie Phelps (Marlene Brinkley) of Gallatin, TN.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Priscilla Haynes and Susan Phelps.
