Mr. Charles Michael Roberts Sr's Obituary
Mr. Charles Michael Roberts, Sr, 72, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019. He was born September 12, 1947 in Nashville, Tennessee to Ruby Geraldine Roberts and the late Wilburn Albert Roberts.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilburn Albert Roberts and a brother Jerry Albert Roberts.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rita (Bolster) Roberts; a son Charles Michael Roberts, Jr; his mother Geraldine Roberts; siblings Linda Gail (Vern) Upchurch, Danny Wilburn Roberts, Pam (Tommy) Luker, Terri (David) Welch, and Sherry Roberts.
Mike proudly served his country in Vietnam as a member of the 173rd Army Airborne Brigade. Throughout his life, he loved baseball and playing 1st base. He enjoyed working on cars, whether they were model cars or the real thing.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 4 PM until 8 PM. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 18 at 12 PM Noon with family receiving friends from 10 AM until 12 PM. Military honors and burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
