Stovall, Dr. Charles Elden, born June 19, 1927; died May 26, 2020 (age 92). Charles is survived by his oldest son Chuck Stovall (wife Shari) of Wimberly, TX; daughter Teresa Titus (husband Jim) of Ventura, CA; and youngest son Dorrence Stovall (wife Kelly) of Nashville, TN. He is preceded in death by his parents, E. W. and Johnnie Pauline Stovall, granddaughter Heather Nicole Stovall, his loving wife Helen Burt Stovall, and his brother James Woody Stovall. He leaves behind six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Charles can be remembered for his creativity and entrepreneurship, which led him to develop two schools, College of the Bible, and National Christian University. He was a Christian Pastor and Counselor for over 50 years in AR, AL, MO, GA, TX and TN. He published 3 Sermon Outline Books, a Writer’s Magazine, and was at work on a poetry collection at the time of his death. He kept his keen sense of humor, loved speaking to people, was very adept at persuasion, and never met a stranger. Private services are being held with Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery in charge of arrangements.
