Mr. Charles Street's Obituary
Charles (PeeWee) Street age 88, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022. Charles was born March 2, 1933, in Nashville, Tennessee, and began attending stock car races at the fairgrounds track in Nashville at a young age. He struck up a friendship with the legendary drivers/promoters and soon PeeWee was a car owner, continued helping as a crew member. Later his enjoyment was being at the track with his grandsons. Charles never met a stranger and always ready to lend a hand where ever he was at the track or at home. He was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many.
He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Beulah Mae Street, daughter Debra Duncan and granddaughter Renee Smith.
He is survived by his loving wife Doris Street, sister Juanita Evilcizer, 7 children, Son Kenneth (Marva) Street; daughter Pamela (Wesley) Bagwell: step-daughters Felicia (David) Serio, Deborah Taylor (Joe Russell), Mary McClary, Amanda (Howard) Cole, Shannon (Jeff) Lancaster, 18 beloved grandchildren, Charlie (Kim) Caldwell, Tommy (Dena) Brakefield, Melissa (Charles Blair) Greer, Jennifer (Tony) Atnip, Kevin Langlitz, Jeremie Morse, Skyla Serio, Angel Taylor, Andrew Willis, Brittany Willis, Marley McClary, Michael McClary, Terry (Courtney) Cole, Candice Cole, Joshua Cole, Justin Lancaster, Tanner Lancaster, Joshua Brumitt, 1 beloved grandson-in-law, Tricky Smith, 21 beloved great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation for Charles will be held Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Pike S. Nashville, TN 37216
A Celebration of Life will occur Monday, January 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home at 5110 Gallatin Pike S, Nashville, TN 37216.
Charles will be laid to rest in Spring Hill Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Pike S, Nashville, TN 37216.
