Mr. Charles Edward Sturdivant's Obituary
Charles E. Sturdivant age 88, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Charles was born to Walter E. and Amanda (Hassell) Sturdivant on March 9, 1929 In Nashville.
Charles married Joann (Haynie) Sturdivant in April of 1952. Charles retired as a heavy duty equipment mechanic from JWC Specialty.
Charles is preceded in death by his loving wife of fifty-seven years Joann, his son Michael Haynie, and his parents. He is survived by his son Wayne (Terri) Sturdivant, daughters Cindy (John) Sinkovich and Kathy (Tommy) Barnes. He is also survived by his grandchildren Justin Sturdivant, Eric Sturdivant, Greg Sinkovich, and Lara Sinkovich. In addition, he is survived by his great-grandchildren Brooks Sturdivant, Julian Sinkovich, and Serenity Sinkovich, and his sister in law Joyce Brewington.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 4pm-8pm. Services will be conducted by Brother Charles Baugh on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 10am in the Chapel at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
