Mr. Chowan Chhay's Obituary
Chowan Chhay, age 25, of Antioch, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Skyline Medical Center. Chowan is survived by his parents Vantha and Phally Chowan; two sisters, Phalla Nop and Sandy Chhay; one brother, Matthew Stuart; grandmother, Sambo Long; aunt’s, Vanny Chhay, San Nim, On-Unde Nim, Moeurn Tornn; uncle’s, Vanthy Chhay, Dennis Phengsavanh.
Chowan enjoyed fishing, kayaking and working out at the gym. He was a hard worker, honest, humble and a friend to everyone he met and was considered a man beyond his years, he was truly loved by everyone. Chowan will best be remembered for his amazing smile and kindness.
Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 4-8 pm and again on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 11-1 at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Ceremony will be conducted from the Chapel at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, A Nashville Landmark since 1785, “Where Nashville Comes to Remember”.
