UNDERWOOD, Helen Christine - On Sunday night December 6, 2009, Christine Underwood went home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Buddy; sons, Dennis and Dale Underwood. Survived by her daughter, Christie (Ricky) Mangrum; daughter in laws, Harriet Underwood and Emma Harris; grandchildren, Alaina (Lee) Knight, Katrina (Shawn) Zeligman, Joanie (Ben) Adkins, Devean, and Krista Mangrum; great grandchildren, Lexie and Tyler; best friend and sister-in-law, Doris Stockton. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 9, 2009, at 1PM, at Beech Grove United Methodist Church with Pastor Caroline Farmer Hewitt officiating Interment in historic Spring Hill Cemetery. As a faithful member of Beech Grove United Methodist Church, Christine requested donations be made to her church in lieu of flowers. (4318 Brick Church Pike, Whites Creek, TN 37189) Visitation will be at the church today from 4-8PM, and on Wednesday from 11am until service time.
