Mr. Christopher J. Miller's Obituary
Mr. Christopher J. Miller, 94, a resident of Nashville, died Monday, October 20, 2014 at Skyline Medical Center.
The New York City native was the son of the late William and Helen Miller and widower of Rose Warner George Miller. He was retired from Nashville Electric Service as a meter reader and a member of Jackson Park Church of Christ. He enjoyed building furniture and model boats along with camping, traveling, the Tennessee Titans and UT Vols. Mr. Miller proudly served our country in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II.
He is survived by a daughter, Margaret Holcomb; two sons, Christopher J. (Rhonda) Miller, Jr. and Thomas (Elizabeth) Miller; four step daughters, Carolyn (Bill) Hedge, Beverly (Ron) Valdes, Cherie (Tom) Peace and Mary Taylor; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter Barbara Miller.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted Friday, October 31, 2014 at 11:00AM Spring Hill Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends on Friday, October 31, 2014 from 10:00AM until service time at the funeral home. Entombment will be in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery Serenity Mausoleum.
