Clara was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family more than anything and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an outstanding cook and loved to gather her family together for family dinners around holidays and special occasions. She was a good listener and had a deep appreciation for handwritten notes and Thank You cards. Clara enjoyed spending time playing Scrabble and Rook, charity work and tending to her beautiful Peonies in her garden. She taught us love, most importantly she showed us how to love unconditionally. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Clara’s memory be made to Feed Sumner (www.feedsumner.org) or Shelby Avenue Baptist Church.
