Mrs. Clara Simmons Moody's Obituary
Clara S. Moody passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee. Clara was born on February 1, 1936 in Hickman County, TN to Robert and Bertha (Alexander) Simmons.
Clara was an accomplished artist and taught herself knitting, crochet, piano, and sewing. She also had a green thumb, she also enjoyed working cryptogram’s, and playing Scrabble on her IPad.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Bobby E. Moody, her son Ronald E. Moody, sisters Floy S. Bates, Wilma S. Love; brothers Henry Simmons, Robert Simmons, Ray Simmons, and Howard Simmons.
Clara is survived by her daughter, Crystal Moody; grandchildren, Ronald E. Jr., and Amanda; special girl who she loved as a granddaughter, Dawn Sundown. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 12-2pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at 2pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
