Clara was a homemaker all her adult life, raising her six children and taking care of the home. She had many hobbies including crafting, working puzzles, fishing, decorating her home, and upholstery work. Lots of things in life brought Clara joy. She loved going to the mountains and even had a home in Pigeon Forge where she and her sisters would meet to visit often. She loved her little squirrels and hummingbirds and other various wildlife that visited her back yard. As much joy as all these things brought her however, nothing brought her joy like her family did. She had a huge family and she loved her children and grandchildren dearly, and she will be greatly missed by them all.
A graveside service will be held Thursday April 25, 2019 at 2 pm at Whitley Cemetery in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee. Spring Hill has been entrusted with the final care of Ms. Whitley. 5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, Tennessee 37216. (615) 865-1101. “Where Nashville Comes to Remember.”
