Mrs. Clara Jean Wilson's Obituary
Clara Jean Wilson, age 82 of Hermitage passed away January 2, 2014. Mrs. Wilson was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed. She truly loved her family, friends and her church family at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church. Mrs. Wilson was born on October 7, 1931 to the late Herschel and Ollie Mae Rice White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Jack Denton Holt, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Vernon Wilson; son, Jack Denton Holt, Sr.; granddaughter, Diana (James) Kizer; and great-grandchildren, Daisy, Jeremy and Payton; and Jacob Kizer. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 4th at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Poly Rouse officiating. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be James Kizer, David Wilson, Bobby Joe Vaughn, Sr., Bobby Joe Vaughn, Jr., J. B. Wilson, Jay Wilson, Mike Wilson and Troy Wilson. Visitation with the family will be on Friday, January 3rd from 4-8 P.M. and on Saturday from 1 P.M. until service time at Spring Hill.
