Mr. Clarence "Ray" Williams Sr.'s Obituary
Clarence Ray Williams Sr., age 83, of Goodlettsville, TN, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Eva Williams; one son, Randall Williams (Sandra); two brothers, Dean Williams, Wayne Williams; two sisters, Geneva Fieldings, Canzader Birdsong. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Maeola Williams; three sons, Jimmy Williams (Teena), Clarence Ray Williams Jr. (Wanda), Steve Williams (Linda); two daughters, Janie Campbell, Janis Dailey (Oliver); sixteen grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. Ray loved to travel the country with his family and explore new places. He also enjoyed going to NASCAR races. He loved his family and his pets, especially his precious dog Booty. Ray proudly served his country in the US army and was in the same company as Elvis at one point in time. Ray will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him. Visitation for Ray will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2019 from 4 PM until 8 PM and again on Monday, June 24, 2019 from 1 PM until 2 PM at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery with military honors. Arrangements by Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, a Nashville landmark since 1785 “Where Nashville Comes to Remember”
