Mr. Claud Vick, Jr.'s Obituary
Claud Dozier Vick, Jr., age 69, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born on April 8, 1949 in Nashville to the late Claud Dozier Vick, Sr. and Mary L. Sullivan.
Claud served his country in the United States Marines. He loved shooting his guns and even won trophies in competitions for his shooting ability. Due to his sharp eye, he enjoyed hunting. He was an avid reader and always felt that he could travel around the world through a good book. He cherished the life that he had been blessed with.
Claud is survived by his wife of fifty years, Janice (Harrington) Vick; sons, Charley Vick and Christopher Vick (Melinda); brother, Robert Vick (Sherill); sister, Darlene Tinkham (George); three grandchildren, Conner, Ashley and Corbin; special sister-in-law whom was much like a daughter to him, Stella Kyzer. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 1 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 4 pm until 8 pm, with an additional visitation on Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 11 am until the time of service at 1 pm. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
