Claude Harold Gentry's Obituary
Claude Harold Gentry, of Goodlettsville, was born on November 30, 1924 and passed away on November 28, 2012. He was a B-17 Bombadier in the Army Air Corps over Europe during World War II and was the most shot at plane during the war. He was a member of Trinity Free Will Baptist Church and the McWhirtersville Masonic Lodge # 375 Free and Accepted Masons since 1948. Mr. Gentry is survived by his wife Bobbie Jean Gentry; children, Kim (Jeff) Carroll, Randy (Cheryl) Gentry and Redgie (Pat) Gentry; brother, Nolan (Bette) Gentry; sisters, Evelyn Walker, Glenna Maker and Millie Kinderman; grandchildren, Jenna Grace Carroll, Kellie Gentry, Jennifer Demonbren, Ashley Winterbauer and Daniel Gentry; multiple great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 30th from 2-8 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until his Celebration of Life Service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 1st . from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Wendell Byrd officiating.
