Ms. Clestial Jewell Darnell's Obituary
Clestial Jewell Darnell, age 78, of Joelton, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kelly and Jewell Fisher; husband of 51 years, Thomas Donald Darnell Sr.; one son, Michael Anthony Darnell Sr.; one sister, Polly Myers; one grandchild, Thomas Donald Darnell III. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Austin; one son, Thomas Darnell Jr. (Susan);three grandchildren, Elizabeth Darnell, Jamie Nicole Darnell, Michael Anthony Darnell Jr. (Megan); eight great-grandchildren. Clestial loved to go thrift shopping, going on cruses, mystery novels and taking care of children. She will be missed by all those who knew her and loved her. Visitation for Clestial will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Thursday, March 19, 2020 from 08:30 AM until 10:00 AM at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, a Nashville landmark since 1785 “Where Nashville Comes to Remember”
