Mr. Clifford Smith's Obituary
Clifford Houston Smith, age 72 of Nashville passed away June 3, 2014. Clifford was born in Nashville on May 29, 1942 to the late David and Ellen Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunt, Martha Irene Gourley. Cliff was retired from the Nashville Fire Department where he served for 37 ½ years. He is survived by his nieces Brittany Rainey and Tiffany Powell; nephews, Drevan, Dylan and Gavin Rainey; nieces, Joslyn and nephew, Jaylen Powell; siblings, Charles R. Smith, David L. Smith, Jr., Estelle Ann French, Carolyn Walker and Sue Ann Brown. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 6th at 12:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, June 4th from 3-8 P.M., Thursday, June 5th from 11 A.M.-8 P.M. and Friday from 10 A.M. until time of service.
