Mr. Clifton Allen Hornbuckle Jr.'s Obituary
Clifton Allen Hornbuckle Jr, age 73 of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Juanita Hornbuckle. He is survived by his best friend and partner of 55 years, Pete Whittaker; two daughters, Tabatha Hornbuckle (Robin), Wendy Adkins (Chris); two sisters, Janice Butler (Steve), Joy Smith (Jamie); one brother, Ronnie Hornbuckle; one grandchild, Hailey Adkins; special friend Patricia McCord. Clifton never met a stranger and was kind to all those around him. He lived his life to the fullest and did what he wanted to do. He raised his two girls and was an amazing father and grandfather. Clifton owned and operated Hornbuckle Plumbing and Repairs for several years. He will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him. Visitation for Clifton will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216, and again on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 9 AM until 10 AM at which time a Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be conducted from the grounds of Spring Hill Cemetery. Friends and family are requested to meet at the funeral home to go in procession to the graveside. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Nashville Humane Association or bring donations of food, collars, toys or blankets to the visitation or service for animals in need.
