Mr. Clyde Hayden Litchfield 's Obituary
Clyde Hayden Litchfield, age 74 of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away February 13, 2016. He was born on February 16, 1941 in Golden Pond, Kentucky to the late Arthur Cleveland and Mary Elizabeth Litchfield. Preceded in death by his parents; wife of 21 years, Rebecca Litchfield; brothers William, Carlos, Woodrow, Deward, Jerry Elwood, Dewie Lee, and Phillip Lee; sisters Margarett Hewitt and Clara Taylor. He is survived by his children Angel Lail (Dale), Juanita Young, Arthur Litchfield (Debbie), Phillip Litchfield (Tina), Raymond Roberts, and Paul Roberts (Denise); sisters Nila Riss, Marie Higgins, and Barbara Worley; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several extended family members.
Clyde proudly served his country in the US Army. He spent many years truck driving and was an avid fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. He enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, and was a member of Ivy Memorial Baptist Church.
A visitation with the family will be Monday, February 15, 2016, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 138 Main Street, Cadiz, Kentucky. Visitation will be Tuesday 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Litchfield Cemetery.
