Mr. Clyde E. Toombs Sr.'s Obituary
Clyde E. Toombs, Sr., age 86, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018 with his family by his side. Clyde was born to Howard and Tiny Toombs in Nashville, Tennessee on March 15, 1932.
Clyde is survived by his son Bubba (Sandra) Toombs; daughters Anita Grice, Carla Toombs, and Teresa Ann Greenfield. In addition, he is survived by his 10 grandchildren; Linsay (Bryan) Morris, Kayla Grice (Vincent Farr), Courtney (Charlie) Bailey, Leslie Archer, Channing Griffey, Christopher Toombs, Erik Toombs, Stephanie (Michael) Nivens, Daniel Turman, and Nickie (Chris) Sterling. Also surviving Clyde are his 12 great-grandchildren; Jayden Jackson Morris, Breanna Bailey, Alyssa Bailey, Bayleigh Archer, Chloe Griffey, Kyra Griffey, Jackson Jacobs, Emily Jacobs, Ethan Toombs, Serenity Turman, Rylan Sterling, and Finley Sterling.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 4pm-8pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Services will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 12pm in the Chapel at Spring Hill Funeral Home, with visitation being held from 11am-12pm. Burial with military honors will follow at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
