Corrine Hon Norris' Obituary
Corrine Hon Norris, age 87 of Nashville, passed away on April 7, 2012. Corrine was born November 22, 1924 in Coggon, Iowa to Roy Lemuel and Ruth Rebecca Sisler Hon. Her family moved to Anderson, IN where she graduated from Anderson High School. She later married Robert E. Norris and to this union four children were born. She was a long time member of Neely’s Bend United Methodist Church. After working at Third National Bank as an officer, she retired to spend time and travel with her family. A loving mother and grandmother, Corrine “Gingee” adored her grandchildren and enjoyed traveling with her family and watching sports. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, David Norris (Betsy); sister, Jean Mason; and brother, Richard Hon. She is survived by her son, Steven (Charlotte) Norris; daughters, Tawnie (Vic) Campbell and Mary Kay (Andrew) Barrass; grandchildren, Shane Norris, Cheryl Norris, Jennifer (John) Solecki, Wirth Campbell and Meredith Campbell; and great-grandchild, Brycen Norris. A celebration of Corrine’s life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from The Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 and from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m., Wednesday, prior to the service at Spring Hill Funeral Home. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Memorial contributions should be made to Neely’s Bend United Methodist Church at 1605 Neely’s Bend Road, Madison, TN 37115.
