Corul Dale Pate's Obituary
Corul Dale Pate, age 90, passed away on August 7, 2023, at the Cherokee Center for Nursing and Healing.
Mr. Pate was born in Gainesboro (Highland) TN to John Henry and Flora Porterfield Pate on April 13, 1933.
He was a graduate from Jackson County High School and Tennessee Tech. He served 4 years in the US Navy in the Korean War, serving on the Seminole ship.
Mr. Pate was an antique dealer, holding the same booth at the Nashville Flea Market.
Preceded in death by wife, Gaydell Sircy Cook Pate after 49 years, his parents John Henry and Flora Pate, and sister Wilma Dene Sutton.
He is survived by nieces: Belinda (Jim) Rainey, Cindy Bone of Fort Pierce, FL, Terry Rose of Marietta, GA and nephew Tracy (Tami) Sutton of Acworth, GA.
A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023, at one o'clock in the afternoon at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216. Friends and family who wish to attend are advised to gather at Spring Hill Funeral Home around twelve thirty in the afternoon, and will process to the graveside together with our staff to the final resting place.
Arrangements for Mr. Pate are entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, "Where Nashville Comes to Remember."
