Curt W. Porter's Obituary
Curt W. Porter, a native of Nashville, passed away on May 2, 2026. He was born on May 13, 1955.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow W. and Lois H. Porter, and his brother, Mark S. Porter. He is survived by his dear friends, familiars, and his community.
Curt grew up in Nashville, attending Inglewood, Stratford, and McGavock schools. He went on to earn a B.Sc. from Tennessee State University and an A.E. from Nashville State Technical Institute.
A lifelong learner with a deeply curious spirit, Curt walked a Pagan path. His diverse passions included local history and archaeology, amateur radio astronomy, and exploring the subtle energies of the universe. He was also a dedicated amateur radio operator, known to many by his call sign, N4MEY.
A private service will be held on May 30th, 2026..
