Mrs. Cynthia June Bayer's Obituary
Cynthia June Bayer, age 89, of Nashville, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Marian Long; husband of 60 years, Charles E. Bayer; one daughter, Sandy Allen; one son, Scott Bayer. She is survived by her son, Edward Bayer (Kassandra); six grandchildren, Heather Bayer, Jeremiah Bayer, Anna Bayer, Terry Allen, Taylor Allen, Adrian Allen; five great-grandchildren, Vincent Allen, Aeris Allen, Anaclaire McCutcheon, Maddox David, Ronan Mooneyham. Cynthia enjoyed planting flowers, working in her garden, sewing and was a huge sports fan. She enjoyed watching the Nashville Preds, Tennessee Titans and Vanderbilt Baseball to name a few. Her family and friends were close to her heart and she loved each of them. She will be missed by all those who knew her and loved her. Visitation for Cynthia will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 4 PM until 8 PM and again on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 1 PM until 2 PM at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216. Entombment will follow in Serenity Chapel Mausoleum at Spring Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, a Nashville landmark since 1785 "Where Nashville Comes to Remember"
