Ms. Cynthia Smith Harr's Obituary
Ms. Cindy Smith Harr of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022, at the age of 71. The daughter of the late J. Fred and Lena Don Smith, she is survived by her son David Underwood, granddaughter Makenzie Underwood, sisters Teresa Stamps and Priscilla Eichler, her cousin Sandra Duncan, and a host of loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by husbands Ronnie Underwood (father of David) and Paul Harr, her loving partner of 5 years and fellow adventurer in life.
Cindy grew up in Hendersonville, TN, graduating from Hendersonville High School and then moving on to attend Austin Peay State University. Full of life and energy, she enjoyed a long career in interior design, including Special Effects for Interiors, a design company that she owned and ran with her sister Teresa. A life-long supporter of the arts, Cindy was the owner and proprietor of online art gallery C.A.S.H., championing visual artists across a wide range of styles. She enjoyed live music and experiencing new cultures through travel, making several Europe excursions with Paul, as well as a 2019 trip to the U.K. with Sandra. In recent years she split her time between Nashville and Palm Beach, FL, which she called her “happy place.” A person with strong family ties and a woman who lived life to the fullest, she will be sorely missed by all who knew and love her.
A memorial visitation will be held for Cindy at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Monday, January 2, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 PM followed immediately by a brief memorial service.
