Mr. Dallas Lee Hannah Sr.'s Obituary
Dallas Lee Hannah, Sr., age 80, of Madison passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015. He was born December 21, 1935 in Old Hickory to the late Comer and Nannie Hannah. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Hannah; brother, Comer Hannah Jr; and sons, Terry, David, Dennis and Herkie Hannah.
Dallas served his country in the United States Marine Corps and also served 10 years in the reserve. He was a member of Holiday Heights Baptist Church of Hendersonville. Dallas will be remembered by his family as an avid outdoorsman who loved life to the fullest.
He is survived by his son, Wilson Hannah (Kathy); best friend and caregiver, Carlene Hannah; brothers, Eugene Davis Hannah (Reba), Carl Edward Hannah (Diane) and Ben Ray Hannah (Jane); sister, Molene Carroll (Wayne); grandchildren, Misty Pyle (Jeff), Tonya Haley (Michael), Tambra Hannah, Dusty Hannah (Jennifer), Lee Hannah (Cicily), Michael Hannah, Katy Hannah and Rachel Hannah; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. Friday 1/1/16 and from 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life funeral service will held 1 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Spring Hill Funeral Home with Eugene Hannah officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
