Dan Roy Hicks' Obituary
HICKS, Dan Roy, age 72 of Nashville passed away on Friday, December 16, 2011. He retired from Robert Orr Sysco after 48 years of service. He was a veteran of the Marine Corps and will be remembered as a loving husband and father. He is preceded in death by his parents, Odell and Partha Hicks; and brothers, Earl Hicks and James Hicks. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Thelma Thomas Hicks; children, Mike (Beth) Hicks, Brian (Nikki) Hicks, and Rene (Mike) Osborne; brother, William Hicks of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Michelle Osborne, Todd Osborne, Brenna Hicks and Daniel Hicks. Visitation will be from 2-6PM, Sunday, December 18th and a funeral service will be held at 1PM, Monday, December 19th at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Burial will follow services at Pleasant View Cemetery in Woodbury, TN at 3:30PM, Monday, December 19th.
