Dannette Marie Miller's Obituary
Dannette Marie Miller, 81, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022. Born May 17, 1941, in Birmingham, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Steverson and Frances Irene Hendrick Steverson.
Dannette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who will be missed dearly. Her family will remember her for hitting area yard sales every weekend with her mother and decorating her home with her found treasures; her trips to St. George’s Island in Florida with her beloved husband “Bucket”; and working continuously on projects in her yard and home.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James “Bucket” Miller II and son, James Travis Tomlin, Jr.
She is survived by her daughters Deena (Richard) Tomlin Whitt and Lisa Tomlin Montero; sister Daryl (Mike Kozlowski) Steverson; brother Kenneth (Mary) Steverson; grandchildren Shannon (Eric England) Vick, Brie Stafford, Bella Barber, and Chase Montero; and 9 great grandchildren.
Special thanks are sent to the staff at Hickory Hills Alzheimer’s Center for their care of Dannette for the past 3 years.
A memorial gathering is planned for December 29, 2022 at 12:00 at the Spring Hill Funeral Home followed by a gravesite service.
Tributes may be made to the Tennessee Alzheimer’s Association in Dannette’s honor.
