Dannie Leo Gregory's Obituary
Dannie Leo Gregory was born on June 25, 1945 and passed away on August 1, 2023. He was born to Winnie Leo Gregory and Evelyn Brooks Gregory in Madison, Tennessee. Dannie was a graduate of Madison High School, class of 63’. He served in the US Army in the 70’s. He retired from Dupont Plant in Old Hickory, Tennessee in 2010. Dannie was an avid horse enthusiast and a member of Tennessee Appaloosa Horse Club where he served as president for several years. He is survived by his sister, Josephine “Jo” Linville of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, and Mike Gregory (Carol) also of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, six nieces and nephews, Chip, Karen, Kimberly, Chris, Christy and Daniel as well as numerous great nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thank you to David and Julie Curtis for all their love and support.
The family cordially invites relatives and friends to attend a graveside service for Dannie on Friday, August 4th at ten o’clock in the morning at Hermitage Memorial Gardens, 535 Shute Lane in Hermitage. Those that wish to attend need to meet at the cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The service will be officiated by Brother Don Loftis of Old Hickory Church of Christ.
