Mr. Danny Hugh Hall's Obituary
Danny ---a 1966 East High School graduate---was an avid music lover, a collector of vinyl records & extraordinarily knowledgeable about record labels, their artists and musicians.
He was the youngest child of Kathryn Estelle Capley Hall & Robert Grey Hall. He was very much loved by his mother.
Danny worked for a few years at Goo Goo Candy Company and was a bank courier for a number of years. He briefly owned private bus company which transported school children to private schools.
He was reared on Woodland Street in East Nashville. He knew all the local history, neighbors and was a member of Woodland Presbyterian Church for many years.
Danny was easy going, affable and very kind to pups and cats; he owned several over the years. He was only 19 years old when he was first diagnosed with schizophrenia and struggled with it most of his adult life.
He is survived by a sister: Pat (Terry) Williams of Ruther Glen, Va; 2 brothers:
Fred Hall of Belleville, Il. & Robert (Janell) Hall, Brentwood, Tn.; nieces Cindy (Rod) Reynolds, Winter Garden, Fla.; Kathryn Hall & Laura Hall, both of Nashville, as well as great niece & nephews: Erin (Steve) Ross of Nashville; Avery (Whitney) Reynolds of Minneapolis, Mn.; Everett (Jen) Reynolds of Denver & Garrett Reynolds of Saint James, La.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 12 noon at Spring Hill Cemetery with Rev. John McCullough officiating. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
