Danny Ray Tobitt's Obituary
Danny Ray Tobitt, age 78, of Cottontown, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, Danny was the son of the late Leon Tobitt and Cleo Champion.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda; his daughter, Rhonda; and his son, Randy. Danny is survived by his daughter-in-law, Misty Tobitt; his siblings, Ted (Gail) Champion and Janice Carroll (Tony); grandchildren, Dillon Tomlin, Brennan Daniels (Celeste), Dustin Tobitt, Kennedy Smith, and Kyndal Tobitt; and great-grandson, Jack.
Danny was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life—drag racing, fishing, and working on cars. His love for the outdoors was matched only by the love he had for his family.
He will be remembered for his kindness, unwavering support, and the warmth he brought into every room. Danny’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Ceremony will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 12:00 PM, with Alton Cantarutti officiating. Visitation with family and friends will take place on Monday, September 22, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on the day of the service from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.**
