David Daniel Norris' Obituary
David Daniel Norris, age 56 of Whites Creek, TN passed away January 20, 2012. David was born September 2, 1955 to Charles Herschel and Nancy Swafford Norris. A 22-year employee of Marathon Petroleum Company, he will be remembered for his work ethic. He loved old cars and when he wasn’t working, he was looking for work to do. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Johnny Norris and sister, Suzanne Kuhn. He is survived by his son, David Norris, II; his brothers, Robert, Melvin, William and Walter Norris; sister, Hattie Pewitt; and best friend, Tina Hale. A celebration of David’s life will be conducted at 2 P.M., Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Thomas Hale officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery with his co-workers from Marathon serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 12 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Monday, January 23, 2012 at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
