He is also survived by a host of friends who were fortunate enough to have their lives blessed with a relationship with David. He made an impact on all who met him and he will be sorely missed by them all.
David was quite the character. He had a razor-sharp wit, and an intellect to match. He was kind, outspoken, and had a loving heart. David simply liked to have a good time and that joy that he found in life seems to have been contagious, because everyone who met David loved him. He had a great sense of humor and one of his favorite pastimes was jokingly picking on his friends and family. So much so that some might say that if David didn’t pick on you, he must not have liked you all that much. David was a painter and drywaller by trade, and he was a master at his crafts. However, he also had many hobbies that he enjoyed. He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, painting, drawing, playing video games - especially Mortal Kombat. He also loved listening to his music much too loud, and gardening. He got a lot of joy from watching things grow – especially cacti and flowers. However, as much as he loved all those things, it all paled in comparison to how much he loved his family. His boys were the lights of his life and he spent every moment he could with them, and just like everyone else, his boys absolutely adored him.
