Uncle David was always so full of joy and laughter. He loved his family and friends with a passion, and always kept a smile on our faces. Such a great guy, I will miss you little prankster. Say hello to Granny for us. Love you, Rest In Peace.

My kindest regards and deepest sympathies to David's family, especially Donald and Diane, whom I remember and know. David was an easygoing and smart young man who always lifted the spirits of those around him, and who never let the circumstances of life get him down. I recall the many times that we would travel the road from his house to mine via bicycle as kids, and later times together during outings with the youth group from the church we both attended (Gallatin Road Ch. of Christ) that was maybe 70 yards from his house on Edenwald Road.(Now part of Myatt Dr.) I recall that David had a great mentoring relationship with Danny Cottrel, the minister there during several of the formative years of his youth that I believe strengthened his faith, and which helped him and others in our group immensely in preparing for our journey through life!
He was a good and loyal friend, and he will be missed by all of us who knew him. I take comfort in knowing that we shall see one another again in a brighter and more joyful place than we could ever know in this world!

Our Brother David had the Biggest Heart in the World! He Loved his Family & Friends & would Always Help Anyone in Need! He would defend his Brother & little Sister & Cared for Us Most of Our Life! Our Hearts are Broken but we know that he has Joined Our Mother whom We All Miss So Much!!!! Where do I start? We met in May 1976, the day after my high school graduation. We laughed & we cried together.Against my parents will, I married David Nov 26 that same year. After 6yrs of marriage we realized we were better friends than husband & wife.We went out separate ways, started a new life of our own but we never lost contact. We stayed in touch & I'm so thankful for the time we shared, the lessons he taught me and mostly the memories he left with me. Forever my friend. RIP David
