Deborah Joann Huggins, 64, of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023. Born November 10, 1958, in Nashville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Tommie Lee Farris, Sr. and Lena Claire Tucker Farris.
Deborah was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed dearly. She’ll be remembered as a loving, strong willed, independent woman with a strong Christian faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Joyce Robinson; brothers Lonnie Farris and Tommie Farris, Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Kenneth Wayne Huggins, Sr.; sons Charles (Amber) Huggins and Kenneth Wayne (Amy) Huggins, Jr.; brother Jimmie Lee Farris; sisters Linda (Marion) Schow, Patricia “Trix” (Gary) Belcher, and Sandy (John) Welcher; grandchildren Jacob, Charles, William, Amelia, Lorelei, Abigail, and Eleanor; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, January 6, from 4 pm until 8 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 7, at 10 am. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be R.J. Williams, Larry Green, Jr., Fred Frazier, Chris Long, Gary Belcher, Jr. and Tommy James.
