Debra Kay Stewart's Obituary
Debra K. Stewart, age 67, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Born July 29, 1954, in Nashville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Homer A. Maddin and Frances Bolling Maddin.
Debbie was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly. She attended Cornerstone Church for over 16 years. Her love for the Lord and her devotion to her family were her main priorities in life. Debbie was also known for her work ethic and her affection for cooking and travel. She was an incredible mother, a loving wife, and a devoted grandmother. Her family will remember her joy and passion for cooking big meals and the long conversations about the many trips she longed to take. She especially loved trips to the beach with her family, and watching her grandchildren play their favorite game, sport, or activity. She would stop whatever she was doing to be with her grandchildren and found incredible joy in caring for others.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Terry Stewart; her brothers Michael Maddin and Larry Maddin.
She is survived by her daughters Misty (Mike) Burns, Kaylee (Glenn Beason) Middlebrooks, Terri (Jared) Rickard; grandchildren Abigail, Elijah, Isabella, Ariana, Rylan, Calvin, Dawson, Meredith, Monica; brother Homer (Tina) Maddin, Jr. and sister-in-law Sandy Maddin, Debbie Stewart; brother-in-law Gary Stewart.
