Mrs. Delma Jean 'Punkin' Morris' Obituary

Delma Jean Morris, 55, of Portland, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022. Born March 13, 1967, in Nashville, she was the daughter of Mary Katherine Moran and the late Delma Jackson Love.
“Punkin” was a loving wife, daughter, mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly. She’ll be remembered for her love of animals and her family (especially her children and grandchildren). She was a Christian with strong faith. Before her health declined, she attended East Nashville General Baptist Church.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son Michael Elliott and brother David Love.
She is survived by her husband Danny Ray Morris; daughter Stephanie (Gregg) Elliott; mother Mary Katherine (Tony) Moran; grandchildren Brianna Long, Greggory Bushulen, McKenzie Elliott, and David Elliott; and her furbabies Prince and Snowball.
Visitation will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville on Wednesday, December 14 from 4 pm until 8 pm. A celebration of Punkin’s life will take place on Thursday, December 15 at 12 pm noon with Danny Everette officiating. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gregg Bushulen, Bubba Bushulen, Dean Long, Mike Federico, Bo Henry and Tony Moran.
