Delores M. Reynolds' Obituary
Delores M. Reynolds of Hendersonville Tennessee and Tuscaloosa Alabama, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023.
"Ms.Dee", Mother, Grandmother, was preceded in death by her husband, Al Reynolds and long-time partner, John Henley, her parents Deward (Doc) Womack and Bessie Bullard Womack and her brother, Robert/Bob Womack all of Nashville.
She is survived by her daughter, Martha Kay Rysak and grandsons, David/Jenny Pass of Tuscaloosa AL, Andrew Pass of Nashville and her great-grandchildren Steven and Charlotte Pass.
A native "Nashvillian", born at the corner of East Douglas and Gallatin Rd on 12-30-1931, she grew up in East Nashville, attending Bailey and East High School. She continued "moving on out Gallatin Road" to Inglewood and Madison, finally settling in Hendersonville TN in 1969.
Her career spanned many years in the Transportation business, working for Hayes Freight, McLean Freight, and Portland Express. Upon retirement, she enjoyed many hours with her "adored" grandsons, David and Andrew. Her fondest memory was of her trip to Europe with "her boys". She was "so proud" of Jenny and her great-grandchildren and loved being near them in the last two years.
Visitation will be from 10AM to Noon on 1-21-2023 at Spring Hill Funeral Home, Madison, TN. A Memorial service will follow the visitation. Private burial with the family will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Room in the Inn project, Our Lady of the Lake Hendersonville, TN or the Nashville Humane Association.
She will be greatly missed.
