Mr. Dennis F. Clark's Obituary
Dennis Franklin Clark, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 in Nashville. He was born in Sweetwater on April 18, 1951 to the late Hubert Clark and Mary Sue (Gennoe) Clark.
Mr. Clark served his country in the United States Army. Dennis enjoyed so many things in life, some of which included bowling, which is where he met the love of his life, Virginia, over forty-three years ago. They would take their sons, Brent and Kyle bowling for family nights and even bowled with them together in a bowling league where Dennis bowled his high game of 290. His biggest highlight of his life was being a devoted husband! His wife was his life! As much as he loved his two boys, taking care of Virginia was his life and nothing could make him happier than knowing that Virginia was taken care of. His grandchildren, Brooklynn, Addyson, Ava, Aubree, and Greyson, made his world go round.
Dennis started working for Ruth’s Flower’s as a bookkeeper and delivery driver when he was 17 years old and was actively working for them at the time of his passing.
He was a faithful member of Beacon Baptist Church. He cherished the life that he was blessed with and loved his church family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Boston Clark.
Mr. Clark is survived by his wife of forty three years, Virginia (Allen) Clark; sons, Brent Clark, and wife, Dyana, Kyle Clark, and wife, Brandi; sister, Wanda Elwell, and husband Steve; brother, Richard Clark; nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, Brooklynn, Addyson, Ava, Aubree, and Greyson. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
