Mr. Dewey Martin Holleman's Obituary
Dewey Martin Holleman, age 86, of Nashville, passed away on August 27, 2014. Dewey was born on February 12, 1928 to the late Chan Martin Holleman and Rosie O’Grady Patton. Dewey will be remembered as a loving man, strong and hard-working, ready to lend a hand to anyone, and always ready with a witty remark.
He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Daily; half-sister, Pat Cockrell; grandchildren, Justin, Samantha, and Amanda Levine; as well as his ex-wife and longtime friend, Opal Griffin and her children.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, August 29, 2014, from 4pm to 8pm. Additional visitation will take place on Saturday, from 9am to 10am. Brother Harry Yates will lead a Celebration of Life ceremony to honor Dewey on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 10am from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
