Mr. Dewey William Parton's Obituary
Dewey William Parton of White house, TN passed away on April 28, 2018 in Sumner County. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Nancy Parton; wife, Janice Parton; Step-daughter, Karen (John) Tankersley; brothers, Dorse Wayne Parton, Chester Parton, Tommy Parton; and sisters, Evelyn Todd, Bobby Lee Bratcher, Lucinda Winnett.
He is survived by his loving companion, Siddie Cheatham Parton; step-son, David (Julie) Cheatham; Step-daughters, Jennell (Doug) Pirtle, Dianne Letner; grandchildren, Amy (Chad) Harrison, Bryan (Dianna) Pirtle, Kim (Stanley) Dowlen, Keith (Dustin) Johnson-Sisk, Kyle (Kelsey) Sisk, Alex Cheatham, Tanner Cheatham, Olivia Langdon; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dewey grew up in Woodbury, TN and retired from Milan Express. He enjoyed working on small engines of all kinds. Dewey was an honorable man who had a way with words. He was kind and loved his family. Dewey was a special person who touched the lives of so many, he will truly be missed.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 11am to 2pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will take place on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 2pm with burial to follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
