Mrs. Diana Rose "Rosie" Thornton's Obituary
Diana Rose “Rosie” Roden Thornton, age 75 of Hendersonville, passed away September 10, 2021. She was born on August 19, 1946 to the late Charles Joseph and Ella Mae Roden.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Loran Roden. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael R. Thornton; son, Charles “Chuck” Moores; grandson, Eli Moores; sister Charlotte Roden Payne Rainwater (Douglas); sister-in-law, Peggy Roden, her nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. She leaves behind her special pet, Max.
She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Hendersonville and member of the choir.
A Celebration of Life graveside service will be Wednesday, September 29, 2021, 10:30 a.m. at Spring Hill Cemetery. The graveside will be for Rosie's friends and family to gather and honor her life. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist of Hendersonville, Choir Department, 106 Bluegrass Commons Blvd, Hendersonville, TN 37075.
