It’s crazy to think he called me “Little White Haired Boy” for over 30 years.
I still have the best memories of days on and at Kentucky Lake with Pawpaw and the whole family. I remember much of my childhood up there, and Pawpaw made so much of it happen.
When I was a Navy Sea Cadet (back in Middle School), I had a drill up in Kentucky one weekend, which Granny Lynn and Pawpaw picked me up from afterwards. I remember being so excited to show Pawpaw all of my Navy Sea Cadet gear, and he was equally as excited to see it, and to tell me stories from his time in the Navy.
